S&T networking event (Nanotechnologies) attached to 14th Joint Conference on Chemistry:

On 10. September 2019, a Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) ½-day Networking Event will be organized attached to the 14th Joint Conference on Chemistry in Surakarta, Indonesia.

The Joint Conference on Chemistry is an annual conference organized by the consortium of Chemistry Department of five universities in Central Java: Universitas Sebelas Maret  (UNS), Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) and Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW). This joint conference has been held since 2006 which initially started with a local seminar to accommodate the dissemination of research results from chemistry lecturers and researchers from the five universities. Starting 2014, the scope of conference was enhanced to be an International Conference by inviting overseas participant from all over the world. Nanotechnologies is one of the main topics of the conference.

The JFS Networking Event provides information about the Joint Funding Scheme and the related activities. The currently open Joint Calls for Proposals will be presented in detail with a focus on the Joint Innovation Call and its thematic area Infectious Diseases.

To support the set-up of powerful consortia for the submission of strong project proposals, selected European researchers seeking for complementing partner organizations will present their institution and project ideas.

If you plan to submit a project proposal under the 2019 S&T Call for Proposals in the thematic area of Nanotechnologies and you are seeking for a complementing project partner for your project consortium, apply for a travel grant now by filling the application form and sending the filled application form together with your CV to sea_eu_jfs@servicefacility.eu (copy adele.clausen@dlr.de).

Innovation networking event (Infectious Diseases) attached to Bio Investment Asia 2019:

On 26. September 2019, a Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) ½-day Networking Event will be organized attached to the Bio Investment Asia 2019 exhibition and conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Bio Investment Asia 2019 is organized by the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) under the umbrella of Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2019. The aim of the event is to accelerate biotechnology and life sciences innovation, business and investment in Thailand and Asia Pacific with the highlights of international exhibition, conference, business forum, company presentations and facility visits. The organizer expects to host more than 10,000 participants from over 30 countries.

The JFS Networking Event provides information about the Joint Funding Scheme and the related activities. The currently open Joint Calls for Proposals will be presented in detail with a focus on the Joint Innovation Call and its thematic area Infectious Diseases.

To support the set-up of powerful consortia for the submission of strong project proposals, selected European researchers seeking for complementing partner organizations will present their institution and project ideas. Furthermore, we aim to organize meetings with potential partners for your project on the side of the conference with our Thai partners.
